FAFO, 2026 — Limited Edition Print

A Haitian woman sits at the threshold between worlds. On the table before her: five national flags laid out as Major Arcana, each nation already occupying the exact position its card describes. On the floor beneath the table, two animals lie still. The dagger beside them is both an offering to Ezili Dantor and the instrument of what has already been done.

The Merkaba, the original sacred light body, floats before her raised hand. A full moon hangs in the Moorish arch doorway behind her. A full moon only exists because the sun, the earth, and the moon are in alignment, the earth at the center making that light possible. She is earth. She is the middle. She is the axis.

She is Ezili Dantor and Ezili Freda simultaneously, justice and love, vengeance and abundance, the two sisters held in one body. The room itself is a Vodou threshold. The goat at the door guards it. The bird in the portal has been released. The ceremony is complete.

Three Gothic gold arches divide the composition into three worlds: the altar, the figure, the doorway. The number three is encoded throughout. The black and white diamond floor is the crossroads. The choublak near the door signs it Haiti.

This is not a painting about power. It is a painting made from it.
